Continuing Medicine Students

Welcome Back from Lincoln Medical School

We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for the new academic year, and continuing to support you throughout your time with us.

Below, you will find some initial information on our arrangements to welcome you back to campus in September 2024. These plans will continue to develop over the Summer, and we will contact you prior to the start of the academic year with further information.

Start of Term

For students progressing into Year 1 of Medicine from Foundation Year, the start of term is Monday 23rd September 2024, along with the new Year 1 cohort. Teaching will commence on Monday 7th October 2024.

For students progressing into Year 2 or Year 3 of Medicine, the start of term is Monday 23rd September 2024, with teaching starting that week.

Most Lincoln courses will start from Monday 23rd September 2024.

Online Registration

You will receive an email notification from the University of Nottingham at the end of August which will contain further details of how to complete the online registration process in order to re-register onto your course. All returning students are required to register at the start of each academic year. Your on-campus attendance confirmation will be carried out by the 情色六月天.

Accommodation

Our teams are looking forward to welcoming you back to Lincoln and helping you to feel settled and safe in your home – whether it is on campus or in the city.

We know that many students will already have plans or bookings for their term time accommodation for 2024-25. Where you are going to be living in university-managed accommodation, we will be adjusting the contract start and end dates to reflect your term dates. The 情色六月天 will also be working with private sector providers and landlords to explain differences in term dates and ask them to make sure that your accommodation contract terms will ensure that you have accommodation available for the whole of the 2024-25 academic year.

Students moving into campus accommodation such as halls of residence will receive an email from our Accommodation Services Team by mid-July with more information about moving back to campus.

If you have any questions or queries about accommodation, you can contact the Lincoln Accommodation Services Team via email at accommodation@lincoln.ac.uk. It will help the team deal with your enquiry if you indicate that you are a student at Lincoln Medical School in the subject title.

We know that alongside the excitement of returning to University, some of you might be apprehensive about leaving home or reintegrating to University life. Our established Student Support and Student Wellbeing Teams are available to support you and to discuss any concerns you might have, as well as the support from the School if you wish to discuss with them.
